The issues in the West being raised about the veil has mainly been about the falsehood and uncertainty of why Muslim women should veil. In many Muslim Artists projects the creator has visually shown an awareness and interest in the veil but has given a negative impact just like the Media have.
In my Artwork I have personally started introducing a positive yet controversial subject to the veil. There has been an exploration to develop a less dynamic and subverted issue to portray a new subject other then the veil itself. The subject of the veil has been dominated by other things within the image to give a less impact to the idea of veiling in the West.
